- Our Berkshires are given the freedom to choose
between the open outdoors and the comfort of a barn, both of
which are supplied with an abundance of hay bales. The hay bales
allow the Berkshires to nestle in them for their own comfort.
- Along with their black coats, six white
points, and perky ears, the Berkshires display a definite distinction
to other pigs.
- As with the wild boar, the Berkshire feeds
contain a high percentage of barley and wheat. The carefully
formulated feed compliments the Berkshire genetics to produce a
distinct, flavorful meat.
