• Saskatoon Specialty Meats opened in July of 1996 by President Ron Blazeiko with Wild Boar production for the Japanese market.

• Saskatoon Specialty Meats became federally licenced in 1996 as CFIA Establishment #383.  

• Saskatoon Specialty meats received HACCP recognition in 1998.  

• A fully trained HACCP coordinator is on staff to monitor the HACCP system on a daily basis and ensure food safety is maintained.  All employees are also given training in HACCP and sanitary manufacturing practices.

• We have 15 years of experience with Japanese trade.

• Close monitoring of product is practiced throughout the plant.

• We are attentive to customer's needs and specifications.

• We always strive for high quality products for customer satisfaction.

• We are a bilingual plant and can be contacted in both English and Japanese.
