Saskatoon Specialty Meats opened in July of 1996 by President Ron Blazeiko with Wild Boar production for the Japanese market.
Saskatoon Specialty Meats became federally licenced in 1996 as CFIA Establishment #383.
Saskatoon Specialty meats received HACCP recognition in 1998.
A fully trained HACCP coordinator is on staff to monitor the HACCP system on a daily basis and ensure food safety is maintained. All employees are also given training in HACCP and sanitary manufacturing practices.
We have 15 years of experience with Japanese trade.
Close monitoring of product is practiced throughout the plant.
